EVERY TUESDAY NIGHT! Joshua Stephen Kartes at The Duplex Joshua is a feature entertainer at Greenwich Village's iconic piano bar and cabaret, The Duplex (view map). Stop in and join him every Tuesday night as he plays and sings all of your favorite songs — from musical theatre to pop, from rock to jazz ... whatever you're in the mood for! Bartender Michael Dionne and server Katie Cass lend their brilliant vocal stylings to the evening. Are you a singer? Don't be shy. Grab the microphone and belt out your favorite songs for the crowd! Bring your music along, or take a look through the myriad fake books and vocal selections available at the bar. It might even be your lucky break! This is New York City; you never know who'll be sitting among the guests. The fun begins at 9:00 p.m. and continues until 4:00 a.m. The music and drinks flow continuously for seven hours. Come on down to this West Village hotspot and let Joshua and the cast and crew of The Duplex entertain all your cares away! Must be 21 years old. No cover! 2 drink minimum.

Stonewall Sensation — Season 8 New York nightlife icon Brandon Cutrell presents the eighth season of the smash-hit West Village singing competition housed at the legendary Stonewall Inn. Joshua Stephen Kartes musical directs. Featuring celebrity judges: TimeOut New York's Adam Feldman, Miss Fire Island Ariel Sinclair and Broadway's Natalie Joy Johnson. And, of course, the Stonewall Inn will remain open for your drinking and socializing pleasure after the show ends. Must be 21 years old. No cover!

EVERY THURSDAY LATE NIGHT! Broadway Sessions Joshua is a pianist for nightlife icon and Broadway actor Ben Cameron's weekly musical mêlée at the Midtown Theatre inside Times Square's HA! Comedy Club. Each week features different Broadway guest stars who share their talents and stories. Following this programmed part of the evening (usually around midnight), Joshua will take to the keys for an open mic that continues until late (usually around 2:30 a.m.). The best part about this evening? It's completely FREE!!! Come listen to some of your favorite stage talent perform songs of their choice for you, and take advantage of the opportunity to perhaps sing for them in return! A large selection of music is available at the theatre, but feel free to bring your own music. Doors open at 10:30 p.m.
